Transition To Work (TTW) & Outreach
The Impact of Our Programs
The TTW program, enhanced by these grants, offers invaluable opportunities for Special Education classrooms. By integrating art into their transition phase, students gain confidence, improve their social skills, and prepare for a successful future. At We Care Arts, we are dedicated to bringing the healing power and joy of creating art directly to our community through our Outreach Programming. We partner with local organizations to offer art classes that are designed to inspire creativity, foster connection, and promote well-being. For each class, we provide all necessary supplies, guide participants through the chosen project, and take care of all the cleanup, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Some of WCA's current Outreach partners include:
- Kettering Cancer Center
- YWCA Dayton
- Daybreak
- Miracle Clubhouse
Community Foundation of Kettering - WCA Garden
The
Community Foundation of Kettering grant will aid in maintaining the flourishing WCA Garden. Established in the spring, the garden provides fresh vegetables like lettuce, tomatoes, and peppers
